Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 2 October 2026
The short version
The service fee is earned when you sign the service agreement. The one exception: if we do not make your petitioner documents available within 30 days of your fee being paid in full, you may request a refund. Government filing fees are refundable at any time before they are paid to the government. Duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded in full.
1. Why the fee is earned at signature
When you sign the service agreement, Aventus commits to act as your petitioner. We take on the petitioner role, reserve the capacity to carry your matter, and begin preparing the petitioner-side documents the filing requires. That commitment is the thing you are buying, and it is made the moment you sign — which is why the fee is earned then rather than later.
The fee pays for the work and the petitioner relationship. It is not a payment for an immigration outcome, and it is not refundable because USCIS decided something you did not want.
2. The 30-day delivery commitment
Earning the fee at signature only works if we hold up our end. So we commit to a deadline:
If your petitioner documents have not been made available to you within 30 days of your fee being paid in full, you may request a refund of the service fee.
The 30 days run from the date the fee is paid in full, not from the date you signed. If you are on a payment plan, that means the clock starts when the final scheduled payment is made. Ask in writing at info@aventusvisaagents.com and we will process it.
Two things pause the clock, because they are not within our control: time we spend waiting on information or documents we have asked you for, and time waiting on a third party you have asked us to coordinate with. We will tell you in writing if either applies.
3. Once the documents are delivered
When your petitioner documents have been made available to you, the 30-day commitment is met and the service fee is earned in full and is not refundable. This applies whatever USCIS later decides, and whether or not you choose to proceed with the filing.
4. Government filing fees
USCIS filing fees, premium processing fees and similar government charges are collected separately from our service fee and are never part of it. They are refundable in full at any time before they are paid to the government. Once paid, they belong to the agency and only the agency can return them; we will tell you what was paid and when.
5. How this applies to each plan
Standard — $2,000
Paid in full at signup, so the fee is earned at signature and the 30-day clock starts the same day.
Installment — $2,300 in four payments of $575
A fixed four-payment plan that ends on its own after the fourth payment. The fee is earned at signature and the scheduled payments remain payable. Because the 30-day commitment runs from payment in full, it begins when the fourth payment is made — though in practice documents are normally available well before then.
Pay When Approved — $3,000
Nothing is collected at signup. The fee becomes payable when USCIS approves the petition, which necessarily comes after the documents have been prepared and filed, so the 30-day commitment does not arise. If the petition is denied, withdrawn or revoked, no service fee is due.
Registered-agent maintenance — $50 per month
Cancel at any time and billing stops at the end of the current month. Partial months are not refunded, and cancelling does not refund months already served.
6. Duplicate and mistaken charges
If you are charged twice for the same thing, or charged an amount you did not authorise, tell us and we refund it in full. Nothing in this policy is intended to keep money that was taken in error.
7. How to ask
Write to info@aventusvisaagents.com with your name and the plan you purchased. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within five business days of approval. If you think something has gone wrong with a charge, please come to us first — it is almost always faster than a dispute with your bank.
8. Your other rights
Nothing in this policy limits a right you hold under the law that applies to you, including any cancellation right you may have as a consumer in your own country, or your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
